Given that fact that film cameras are definitely dying, how many of us do own a piece at home now?
Everyone is trigger happy by owning a digital camera. So the fundamental o photography has changed to a certain extent.

Hi
I have got one myself 2. In fact, I'm happy with my film camera. Relying on my fundamentals & skills to determine how my pictures appear. Albeit preview is not instantaneous, it sure thrills me waiting for the pictures to be developed.

Hey USM, I still have a SLR however, its not a Canon. Made the switch to Canon on a Powershot A70. Just sent my SLR for servicing. Hope it won't burn a hole

Just got a call from my service shop. My SLR is ready.
I reckon, the 35mm SLR will still be around. Due to certain pics and shots that are still only available in high quality is Black and White PIcs.
I'm hoping to load up my 35mm with Black & White Film and start shooting. In addition, hoping to take a Black & White course... on how to turn the film into pics.
Cheers

Used to have an EOS 5, but my time with it was short-lived. Eventually I sold it to raise funds. Currently I still have two film cameras at home that I know are in working condition. They are both old, little Olympus cameras though, not SLRs. I also have a Rolleicord sitting around, which was given by my grandfather. Have no use for it at the moment though.

Now that i know more about SLR... let me go back and check what my brother has. i borrowed from him a number of times when i know nothing about photography. Now he passed his old canon lenses to me.. I ever thought about using film and then covert to tiff/jpeg and store on cdrom. Will it be cheaper than full frame? Assuming one don't anyhow fire away, one shot one kill, using film and convert to jpeg maybe a workable idea with great quality.

I still have 2 film bodies. I guess that they will be just for collection. Nowadays, I seldom shoot with slides / films, so chances of using are very slim. Those days of films seem to be gone.

I still have my SLR but it's not Canon. I still reckon film SLR much simplier and easier to use. DSLR too complex but of course many things can be changed too. I've just sent my SLR for servicing for it was my first SLR, a present for me from my sister. So it has so much sentimental value(the trip pics I've taken) that I don't think I would sell it.

I have the EOS 5 and 100. Occasionally I still shoot with my EOS 5. Although the mirror moment is quite loud compare to EOS100 but I still love this camera more. I have some problem with the command dial recently but I managed to have it replaced.
