got inspired by a post showing how to make a fisheye on a p&s using a doorviewer and a film container today... couldnt find the post now i got the stuff out of curiousity, and by sheer luck it went well with my 50mm 1.8, probably due to its recess. (below is the things i used) no more than $5 for the doorpeeper ;D as in the above few pictures... the background not black... gonna get black tape soon hopefully it works downside to it.. picture not sharp... i shot in raw and push up sharpness...everything

ok i'll start with the kfc container... at the bottom of the cup, you can see lines and numbers along the circumference. It can aid you in plotting the centre of the cup, where a hole will be created to fit the "door peeper" in.

like in other posts... the other part (rear part) of the the door viewer has got no value. ( can throw away )

create a hole, in the kfc container, big enough for both the screw-threaded part and the shaft to enter, so that the top sits nicely. then secure the door viewer down with scotch tape.

the end product of the "$5 fish-eye", after covering it with black tape. Looks fugly. ;D if you want secure the "fish-eye" to the 50mm make sure it isn't too tight or your AF might not work. heres the rear end of the "$5 fish-eye".
