This is all I got from the field shots Thanks to Bro luvin for his support with a slave flash.. This is as big as I can crop.. any more .. grainy.. already it looks grainy .. Just to give those who were not at the outing a pespective of how BIG the mantis is And Yes the focus is off for this shot .. C&C alway welcome

Thanks Like this most.. Generally I feel that for the rest the flash is too harsh.. try using PS to decrease the hilight a little.. Very much better than my first try ... ;D

Hi Lowlights, I think this is your sharpest. I've got critised when the colour of the background is as strong as the insect, but I like this one leh:) Trung, nice meeting you. I like this one too!

bigu2fan: I like the sharpness in your fly's head. It's beautiful, your shot makes me realize that it's the similar shot that Steve did (his is more sharp in the body). Prob the same fly lor lowlights: thanks, i agree that those pics are too harsh. Must master PS at some point. USM:I like the spider. I think that's the one we met at the first place...

after so many of you post.....is my turn now... below are some of the better one.... maybe should do something about using the inbuilt flash....or perhaps do up stevewhy's diffuser also......cos is harsh.... and i think me the only one using 50mm prime with the raynox hehe anyway..for your viewings and any comments lah....
