To me its underexpose. Increase ISO with more noise the pic may turn out better. You must have many shots... Eyes close for ballet don't work for me.

Thanks for the comments ISO already pump up to 3200 can't go up any more.. yes there was noise in the background .. it looked ok.. but still had them PSed.. The little girls are swans.. they are "sleeping" when this shot was taken.. so no eye contact.. don't think swan sleep with their eyes opened... hahaha Cheers

I quite like thge composition. After all, it's not easy taking pics of children and I am sure jostling with all the other parents as well.
How many mothers have you trampled on?

Cute... these little darling are on stage.. all mothers are seated.. so they are safe.. I took a seat in the front row which was reserved but empty when the performance started.. the only other "competitor is the official camera man (Nikon User).. I felt bad as it seems that the white lens I was using putted a lot of pressure on him, as he keep looking at my setup.. to make this matter worse.. he was shooting with flash all the way.. and here I am happily shoot without flash.. think one of these days I would be banned from performance for causing mental breakdown to in house photographers... hahaha Thanks for the comment

The mood of the left little girl is there but the other one behind seems to create some distracting visual effect. If you crop the background, perhaps the sleeping little girl on the left would be more stand out.

I hope.. the cropped version.. becomes too common or to "portrait" .. but will have another look.. Thanks for the input..
