Hi Alvin, the problem of the command dial on the EOS 5 is well known world wide.[/quote]
Yes. I heard of it, but I never thought it would happen to me so sudden. After I switch on to manual mode, it got jam and when I apply a little force it became lose. Luckily for me, when I send to canon for repair they claim they have no spare part but after some coaxing they finally agreed to exchange one from a used camera.

I guess that Canon is providing good customer service rather than your coaxing.

Bro fumiryu, I wonder if there is a mistake on the 'new' releases that you have listed. The EOS 1V was released on Mar. 2000. The EOS Kiss 7 (aka EOS 300X here) was released on Sep. 2004. The EOS Kiss Lite (aka EOS 300V here) was released on Sep. 2003. Only that I've never heard of EOS 7s, hence that could be a new release. Please correct me if I am wrong.

As far as i have heard and aware Canon Sg doesnt profile any slr in their websites.
The only place to get a brand new one is from BHP

Film is history, just a matter of time. I guess that most retailers would not want to carry film cameras anymore as the demand is extremely low. Even Uncles and Aunties are buying digital cameras. Therefore, in order to get a brand new film camera, you have to get it from overseas. By the way, why did you need to get a brand new one instead of a 2nd hand piece? It would much easier to get a 2nd hand piece.
