Welcome!
Nice eye for a potentially interesting subject.
I wonder what it would be like cropped tight on the boy?
If you could do this again I suggest moving to the right so we can see the expression on the boy's face as well as more of the drain. The grass to the left detracts from the subject and doesn't add any thing to the photo.
Good luck with your photoaday project - every one is so supportive and often have insights that help improve our techniques.

Chop off is not nice, here the shot neither tight nor loose, seems like you're in half mind. I would likely do a frontal view of both animals and try to secure eye contacts maybe use a lower shot as though they are gonna stomp over me and still get a view of the cart. Must also pay attention to composition,

Thx you Cecil... U really can read my mind.. I cant decide whether to shoot one of the 2 cows or both.. I'll bear that in mind in future shots.. Thx you

Good day everyone !! Took this lovely sunset photo @ Redang, but I had a prob of showng the golden glow (gloden color). Is there something wrong with the white balance? I set it to Auto, but I tried the "preset", it turned out worse... Sigh.. Is it me or my skills, can someone pls provide me some advice, Thx so much !!!

Thx bro for the encouragement, I dun own a DSLR, only a small tiny little S3... Hee... S3 is not tiny.....i used to own, now still owning a S2....and i love it!! Sometimes when i lazy i used that to shoot rather than 400D...hehe not sure if you know, S2 and S3 are among a list of canon cameras that can be hacked by loading some firmware cracks that enables you to take raw images....not sure if really can....of course got to take a small risk.....anyone tried that before?

Hi,
I don't know what camera you are using (I'm Nikon) but it doesn't matter whether it is a pointshoot or posh monster. If you have photoshop or lightroom you can adjust the whitebalance easily (I too had the same problem as you).
If you want to try free processing software, use googles piccasa which is good.
As some one mentioned above, once you switch to RAW your life becomes a lot easier. It took me ages to try RAW and now I love it. Take your time to learn photography, you will know when you are ready to learn the next new skill or technique.
Finally, do continue to join the 'experts' in this forum. I have learnt so much from them and every one is so friendly!
Good luck
