decided to put up my macro pics.. my macros are more of flora. For creepy crawlies, Im not inclinced to go near them and I don't know where to go look for them. For that, i'll wait till steve's macro workshop to try out. one shot to start off: using closeup filters with my kit lens #1

This is nice.. can be a wall paper. The composition of #1 & 3 is good but yr speed is too slow hence moition blur.

Yo sister, I didn't know that you are into macro. Must be influenced by Steve.
Anyway, like what Deswitch has pointed out, the shutter speed is just too slow. Did you use a tripod or hand held?

hi all, frankly, i was at a loss of what aperture to use when i shoot those flowers... first one was shot at garden festival. lighting is dim. i use a cheap cheap third party closeup filters (fr india) haha. all shots handheld. i just try and try to steady myself then. Subsequently i realise i want those soft soft (out of focus) effect, so i stop down to f5.6 or less. until now im still trying to find the balance...
