Just for record purpose only. I did not have a macro lens to shoot it. I was just using a EF 50mm f1.8 II lens to take it. Oh man, a small centipede found in the forest. It can run very fast as you can see that it has long legs. Wait till you see the giant one, you will faint.

Those pictures can be National Geographic award winning shot. Once in a lifetime. They did not post it in fear that people would be frightened by the sight of it.

Just imagine this - you are at Lower Pierce at midnight..... You are passionate about your macro shoot and are concentrating 100% on shooting an insect and oblivious to anything else. Suddenly! Somebody shouted "Don't move, keep still!" You freeze and for a moment that seems like hours, time stood still. Then you heard pattering of feets (others rushing towards you - but you can't see as your camera is plasted to your face and you're looking at the insect towards the darkness) and you cannot move for fear... of what ? You don't know. Then the rest also say "Wah, so big! Yes, keep still!", and cameras start shooting and then somebody screaming, "its moving! Its moving!" "Yikes its coming towards you" (YOU?

WHICH YOU? ME - YOU? OR THEY - YOU? ) Then, "oh, oh it jump down and dissappear into the boaredwalk" .... sigh of relieve ..... This is what is on his collar bone beside his neck and later crawl down his back and jump off. I think its a wolf spider. Here is a pic of the giant centipede eating a snake. the snake was coming out of its skin.
