When everybody is asleep, I am shooting macro in the forest at midnight with a few bros. I was exploring the possibility of using the EF 50mm f1.4 lens + close-up filters to shoot macro. Therefore, all the pictures below were taken using this lens. Saw this hairy moth's capterpillar crawling. Don't underestimated this spider despite that it has lost 2 of its 8 legs. I saw it jumped onto its prey in split secs. The best of all, spotted this sleeping bird. A spider caught the jungle cockroach as its meal. Look the the size of the cockroach vs the spider. The spider can definitely prey on larger subjects.

Very good for 50mm setup. watch out for the flash on the last one. Yes, the flash seemed a bit harsh.
