The night macro thread seems very quiet nowadays. Hence I shall input some pix to bring the night macro back alive again. Let some people's saliva drop. Moth 1 Moth 2 Spider 1 Of course, there are more to come so please check it out at a later time.

what your setup Almost same as you, FZ50, qty 02 Hoya +5 filter. Can't get the 250D filter because out of stock. Then borrow the self made diffuser from USM and justshot.

Thanks ... hahaha ... was just wondering.. as I heard you have changed your setup already.. Good Series... Of course need to change setup as people like you and Stevewhy advised that using the prosumer camera is more suitable to shoot macro. Even USM also said that he might need to get the "proper equipment" to shoot night macro. My series is still incomplete because I do not have the Canon 250D close up filter and the flash diffuser. Also need to improve the skill of taking shots as I still encounter instances of camera shake.

Why Canon 250D .. not 500D Good light control on the Scorpion... no reflection ... Clap Clap I thought both Stevewhy and your setup, is using the 250D filter? Also, USM mentioned that the 250D is better as compared to 500D, but that also means need to bring the camera closer. Thanks for the compliments with respect to the scorpion pix. Win liao lorr ... all throwing away ur macro lens? When is the next night macro outing leh? What do you mean by all throwing away macro lens? I did not buy a macro lens in the first place? Win liao lorr ... all throwing away ur macro lens? When is the next night macro outing leh? a... dun throw away! give to me! Ar.. miss the old macro days where everyone get together for macro. I do not have a macro lens, how to give one to you?
