Which one do you guys prefer ? The original picture was too bright so tone down the brightness and contrast to bring the colors out but not sure if it works for you guys. Need help on the dodge and burn technique from USM...heheheh ;D

Bro, the man is a bit too centered, and there was no space on the right to show that he was looking.
A better composition will be shifting him to the left, more space on the right.

this looks underexposed. remember, you need to overexpose by +0.7 for him.

i also like b&w,but i hear someone say about if the picture have high contrast, one convert to b&w,will more nice.. like ur picture,is shoot under diffuse lighting.so the tone of image is very smooth... let say,the uncle is lighting with direct sun light(6pm sun light),so will have bright, middle and dark(shadow) tone... once convert to b&w,will more nice.. tell u a story,a lot of people always convert the over-exposure image from color to b&w,it really can cover the over-exposure defect.. plus become very art for those not so pro people... ha ha,i not mean i pro...because i also always do that... for u image, must ask USm teach u some skill... i also have a book to teach how to convert to B&w,but it write chinese, some people dont understand....but it nice...

I ENCOUNTER now have many photo very high saturation and high contrast... that give strong impression.... but i more like some photo with low saturation,it very comfort and look like very normal, but after long time i still can remember it...so,PS not only use to add color n saturation.. try another way,may be will get suprise..

I feel that the fence is too distracting. Perhaps use a wider aperture to defocus the fence. a 35 f1.4 or 50 f1.2 will work great here. Agree with USM on the composition.
