Beautiful shots - good separation of foreground and background.

Cecil: Thank you for the comment. Bokeh is a lovely thing to have around and the SLR lenses really make it a reality. It's tough to get adequate separation with a P&S. But on the flip side the DOF with any compact camera is often so great that you can shoot wide open and get most things in focus. Deswitch: Wow...how much does a zoo pass cost? At one point of time I had considered getting one, but realized I don't always have time to go to the zoo...neither do I have the energy because it's a little far from home. Usually I use my army camp at Yew Tee as a 'base' for an overnight stay so that I can get to the zoo early the next day. USM: Raawwrr...it's a man eater!

If you drive, its free parking too. It'll be the personal card for me if I ever get it. At $70 a year it'll mean at least 5 visits though. This year I've only gone there about 3 times or so. Pity there's nothing like a safari in Singapore because I'd really love to do one of those.
