wow, good catch. the last one look like Stork-billed KF. is it bigger than the rest? Stork-bill is the largest KF in singapore. There is one resident at upper Pierce reservior... hugh one but dunno still there or not.

So heng ar. haha hm... issit become weekday lesser ppl in SBG that why it easy to spot them? haha...when did I say these were from SBG...by the way, i stay in clementi west, all were taken within walking distance from my home...the white throat and white collar kingfishers were taken along the canel...i was walking on my way to west coast park when I saw 1 white throat KF and a pair of White collar KF.... the stork-billed KF was seen in west coast park...by the way, I was trying to take KF while in flight...seen like very very difficult...

Another bird, think is an Egret, which I took from the walk yesterday.. This bird is very cute with golden beard... #01 400+1.4TC, F5.6, 1/320, ISO400, handheld (lens rested on railing) #02 400+1.4TC, F5.6, 1/320, ISO400, handheld (lens rested on railing)

Yr cattle Egret is beautiful. Only thing i dont like is the man made objects visible. Think you must venture away from the city to shoot...hee. Yr 400 prime is producing great results...

Thanx...yeah, i agree with you...must venture away from the city, pictures of them in their natural habitat are always the best....as for my 400 prime, i am still learning in every oportunity to produce the best image...of course, will not compromise the peace of those birds...
by the way, thanx for the name of this Egret...

no snowy mountain lah...tackle bukit timah hill 1st...or maybe Redhill...It is better to head the bird section for better reason, example like "WoooWOOoo Photographs"...haha...slowly lah...
