Would like to share this "WOW" & "sigh" story with all of you...
Today morning around 9am when I was praparing to go for work...suddenly...i heard something outside my house, along the corridoor, where my rows of plants are located...chee!!! chee!!! chee!!!...nowday, any birds chipping will get me alert and look up...okay, come back to the story...from my house, i looked out thru the grille, WOW...yellow bird....a pair of SUNBIRDs...the last time i saw it was during MOG outing...
Getting excited, as my digi cabinet is in the living room, in swift and rapid motion...out my camera body, out the 400mm Lens, out the caps...oh...without my flash....From the on/off switch, I push to ON with my right thumb...and start snap, snap, snap, snap...during this period, I was thinking..."DUN FLY", DUN FLY"...in another swift motion, i depress the preview button...."naBeIiiiiiii".....all under exposed...NO...are super under-exposed....check my exposure meter..."nuts"...it was -3 stop..."wah lan"....I remembered, last night I was testing some settings and photos on my new tamron 17-50 F2.8....
Quickly...I push forward the exposure stop to -1/3...I LOOK UP!!! & contiuned shooting.....NO!!! he/she looked at me smiling....& FLY AWAY.......i was shaking my head in disgust.....hopping that I can save these pictures using DPP....
Moral of the story....know you camera well, know the setting you are in before the 1st trigger...even you are fast in assembling & triggering...it is of NO USE....wrong exposure, wrong shutter speed.....
here are my photos after post processing using DPP...I think CS2 will be a better tool to save these photos....
Sorry for the badly exposed photos...will try to do something when I got my new CS2 install....
