This is my 1st BSK...a beautiful raptor...taken today... When I saw this juvenile...it was perching so high up about 50 metres away... Haha...took a few shots without TC...look so small in my LCD... SO!!! I stacked 1.4X TC+2X TC...these are the outcome... #1 - 400D+kenko 1.4X TC+canon 2X TC, 400mm F5.6, F11, 1/125s, ISO800, EC +1 1/3, mirror lock-up, manual focus, cable release #2 - 400D+kenko 1.4X TC+canon 2X TC, 400mm F5.6, F11, 1/160s, ISO800, EC +1 1/3, mirror lock-up, manual focus, cable release

Wow. Great shot, the second one. Looks like stacking a 1.4X and a 2X TC is not really affecting the picture quality huh! Good job.

thanx...stacking TCs will definitely affect the picture quality, a naked prime will be very sharp & full of details...
Anyone notice the branches of the 1st & 2nd pictures.
