I went to hunt for the white throated Kingfisher but in vain. Then saw a few Pink-necked Green pigeons. However, most of them were high up in the trees covered by twists, branches and leaves. Therefore, I did not manage to get a clear shot of it. Spent 2 hours.

Bro, it is a pigeon, not dove. nice and sharp... but too tight in cropping for my taste... I preferred a tighter crop because sometimes the background is just too distracting.

thats the challenge in birding photography...clean perch, silky background... I know. But I also heard that there are some man-made perch for the birdies to land, so that they can get a nice clean shot.

Pink necked pigeon are usually spoted around fruiting bushes or trees. Seldom in the open.
So would be very hard to get a good clean shot on a branch with nice BG like the KF. If have, you must be very lucky. I'm already considered very lucky to spot it on top of the bushes feeding on the fruits at eye level and just 5 meter in front of me. Hee
