Here are some of my shots taken during the recently concluded Singapore Fireworks Competition. Please excuse the photos, newbie under learning. C&C are much appreciated. #1. #2. #3. #4.

WOW, Mr Goh finally went shooting. Ok, my comments. Firstly, the pictures are quite badly distorted. What lens are you using? Secondly, the exposure seems a bit over. It is never easy to shoot firework. Great effort! At least you can enjoy the show.

This is ultra-wide angle, most likely 10-22mm. I think why choose this wide could be due to the close proximity.

Needed to use the 10mm end of the lens as I was seated in the gallery area. The fireworks were right in front of me. Exposure over? Can point out to me how you determined that? Need to learn la. Ya, I did enjoy the show. ;D

If possible, you should have move yourself around such as going right at the back of the seats. Can you see the centre of the firework? The highlights are all gone. This indicates overexposure.

Ya, I was seated near to the action. That is why I had to use the 10-22 mm lens. Thanks for pointing out the overexposed area in my shots.
