Brought along a FF camera and EF 24-105mm f4L IS for a spin. FF really brings you a new persepctive in photography. Many a time, we have seen many users debating on EF 24-70mm vs EF 24-105mm f4L IS. I believe that each lens has its own usage. There is no hard and fast rule. It is all dependent on individual. For me, EF 24-105mm f4L IS is meant to be used with a FF camera. Coupled with longer focal length, it makes it a good walkaround lens. Not forgetting the Image Stablizer which can be very useful in some situations. For example, I did not bring along a tripod, so I have to depend on something to stablise myself. Using IS is one of the ways. I was shooting hand held at 1/6 to 1/20 secs.
