1. In what area is critique to be sought? 1st time took a cat pics and anything that can improve the composition & lighting. 2. What were you hoping to achieve with this image? To capture the cat in unknowingly situation. 3. Under what circumstance was the picture taken? Night around 9pm without tripod.

Bro, I guess that it was taken by your Sigma 50mm f1.4, right?
Sharpness is there. However, in terms of composition, I will be preferred that the cat is facing you or 45 degree so that both eyes can be seen . The distracting part of the picture is those round street lights. Possible to avoid them?

Yes,its from my sigma 50mm 1.4 agreed that the bokeh street light is an eye's sore. any tips i can minimize the strong street light, example using add on fancy filters? btw,thanks for ur comment on my 1st ever pic critique ;D

Don't be afriad to choose awkward angle. There is no filter in the market to get rid of those strong street lights
