Hi Dominoc, for sharpness I like no 2:) Photo No. 1 and No. 2 were taken from the rear of the insect. Personally I don't think it's very flattering:)

Agree with bigu2fan Pic #2 is sharpness of the lot.. as for the rear side shot, this is not a good angle for macro.. as Steve mentioned, insect portrait.. 45 degree and side shot would give the best result. Try to move around your subject to obtain another angle next time.

i like #2....the background green attracts me a lot... perhaps if crop off a bit would be nicer..i think..
may i know what setup you used ah??

agree with lowlights and 28degree regarding sharpness. Good thing about all 3 pics is that the shadow is well eliminated. Well done! However, SHARPNESS FIRST (Steve always scolds at me)
