Good effort to try to capture the moon.
But your exposure was wrong.
Looking at your exif file, it showed 4 secs at f4. The exposure was too long, resulting in overexposed of the moon.
Just for your info, the moon is actually moving, just like our naked eyes can't really tell the difference. So does that give you a clue on how to take a photo of the moon?

I guess first you gotta decide on what you really want?the details on the moon or the details on the building? because of the difference in exposure in the two subjects, its hard to have both in one single shot. What didnt make the moon totally round, was actually the clouds reflecting and diffusing light from the moon.If this were done on a clear day, it would have been totally round. compositionally, this photo dosent work well either.I would have preferred more of the buildings. And maybe following the rules of thirds, place the moon on the top right/left hand corner.Get rid of the black thing sticking out from the bottom, and yeap, the light pollution does cause some metering problems
