I'm wondering as I'm having trouble whether to keep the RAW format for future use in case some new techniques learnt. Otherwise, the data to keep will increase alot in RAW format.

If you like the photos very much, then you should keep it. After sometime, review again, you may find that your liking may change over time as your photography skills improve. Harddisk and DVD keeps getting cheaper.. i don't see any reason of space constraint..

I have another question. There's RAW+L mode you can shoot or do you only shoot RAW mode?

One has to decide... whether the scene/event you are taking worth shooting in RAW. Professionals may not even shoot in RAW partly because they are so good at it, their lens, and their camera so they may not shoot in raw at all. Yet there are some who are perfectionist they'll shoot in raw and even convert to tiff then edit and gereate a jpeg!
Situation i think one would use RAW+L is when one has time constraint. eg. client need to have a copy of their photos fast or asap. So mininal processing needed by the photographer and hand over the photos. Photographer can still fall back on RAW if for some reason a shot is under/over expose or the white balance is off. Normal L or jpeg wrong white balance may still be corrected, but much more skills needed and sometimes not possible and sometimes does not turn out good enough. Also, in situation whereby you want to print directly from the camera, you need to shoot in normal JPEG. For a perfectionist photographer, he'll probably shoot using RAW+L, so he can print immediately and still have a RAW. But RAW+L takes up even more card memory space than just shoot RAW.

In that case, I'd like to find out in a poll what they normally take.
