Can I ask somethinmg here
Does it means - both Lens are 1.4 Aperture - so I can get the Blurr Background (If I want to) using this lens...
As regards to 50mm & 58mm - it means The 50mm can have a Wider Angle than the 58mm - when I look into the Viewfinder?..
Are this call - A Standard lens - so it is useful for "Learning"?

Hi Eric, What exactly are you asking? It seems rather confusing from your statements. Both the EF 50mm f1.8 mk II and EF 85mm f1.8 have large aperture of 1.8. Having a large aperture is very useful because you can control the amount of bokeh as well as the amount of light entering through the lens. Faster AF is also another characteristic of large aperture lens. EF 50mm lens is generally considered as a standard lens because of its angle of view, very similar to human eye's view. On the other hand, EF 85mm is more like a mid-telephoto lens. However, when you are using these lenses on a crop factor camera, you have to factor in the crop factor of 1.6 or 1.3 depending on the types of camera used.
