bro USM, I need some advice, for my cam body 350D does it matter what type of CF speed I use? The bottleneck of the speed lies on my body and not the card speed anymore right?

For those who are using 20D, 30D, 5D and 1-series, it is advisable to use Sandisk Extreme III (133x) or IV (266x) CF card due to the no. of fps.
As for 300D, 350D and 400D, Ultra II (66x) should be fine.

Hey USM,
Just curious... for cameras like 300D, 350D and 400D, do they have a limit to the size of the CF Card.
For example, I have a Ultra II 4.0 Gig Card. But.. when it reaches about 650 shots left, my images are corrupted and very difficult to read.
Is that a norm..?? or just my cam..??
Please advise
Cheers

I use a 8Gb Micro drive on my 350D and shoot till its full with no issue at all. battery life on yr camrea may play a part to corrupted files. if yr battery is weak, writting to the card may be inconsistent causing it to be corrupted. Else just format the card before any shoot. Rem, never format the card with yr pc, yr camera have a slightly different format. Use yr camera to format yr card.

Hey Ang and Deswitch, Thanks for your advice.... Battery was full and I replaced the battery to try. But still had the corrupted file. I have format the CF card now I guess this is the only way to try... otherwise its a camera problem. Got to start taking 400 pics again... Cheers

somehow I feel very risky shooting 400 shots into one media... it just take god's will... then your precious effort all gone... I strongly believe in have 2/3 media and split the risk.... Risk management:)

I use my 8Gb as main, the other 1GB and 2 GB as backups.
