Fren wants to know if he can add 2 x teleconvertor to his close up lens?
He's using Panasonic FZ50

sis, you got ask him where is he going to add it? the teleconverter in should be a screw on type. if so it would be cam then close up then tele. i think the image will be very screw up but i may be wrong.
best is to bring a shop to try.

Normally the 2x converter is screwed on between the body and the lens (in a slr) - if the lens is fixed, then most likely not.

AFAIK, the FZ50 lens is fixed so there is no way to add a 2x TC on it. What is the reason that yr friend wants to add a TC? to gain higher magnification? well , you could add more closeup filters. maybe 2 x +5 closeup filters. bro i think the TC are like the Teleconverter for PNS, not the one we use for DSLR. btw if i am not wrong, close up filter can not focus to infinity.

hahahaha no la tele can do both ma, close up only for macro la. best go try and see what you want and need.
