Thanks for ur comments.
Ang - the theme of the assignment is 'graphic design', thats all.
My next one is candid - which I love - so no problems there.
My set up - fave lens is my prime 50 mm and then a ultra-wide angle (12-24).
Shush - don't tell this Cannon forum; but I'm inflitrating the ranks with a Nikon D50!

Not sure how the effect in the water is created, but I'm reminded of the Phoenix from X-Men 2 I should stop watching so many shows...The sky and water has a very creamy effect, reminds me of ice cream. I should stop eating so much ice cream too...

Thanks for all your support.
The sunrise shots have not been photoshopped beyond minor adjustments in levels & curves. They are so precious I daren't manipulate them.
I'm starting to stretch myself thin at the mo what with work pressures, on-line photo assignments and my masters. So I'll be taking a breather for a while; it might be a photo a week for a while.
Please do keep the critiques coming.

Sure no problem, after I give up movies and ice cream;) As Lightning McQueen in Cars will say "Ka Chow!" LOL Ok lah, don't OT Manda's thread anymore, otherwise she'll throw her brand new D50 at us...

LL 39 This is meant to be otherworldly and abstract - what do you think?

LL 42 I feel there's some thing I'm missing with this one. Apart from the obvious slanted horizon, what does it need?
