LL1 How can I CS2 to make the 3 clouds more distinct? This was a lucky fluke; I was tidying my room when I spotted this beautiful view. By the time I had snapped this shot and run off to get my tripod steady, the sun had sank. The rest of the images are sharper, but less dramatic. C&C welcome.

LL2 Exploring which 'magic numbers' work in the channel mixer. Thanks to USM for sharing B&W techniques.

Hi Mandy, nice capture of the sky with contrasty color. However, I find that it is rather flat / dull, and not so sharp. I took the liberty to adjust the color. How do you find it?

My opinion is i prefer the original version..i think just need slight adjustment to the original should enhance the image. USM edited version seems a bit over adjusted - but i guess if he has the original image it would be easier for him to edit.
The b/w portrait of the old man is very good.

Straysheep - thanks for your comments. I tried various CS2 tricks to try and improve this shot. If you see USMs image you can see what I mean.
USM - thanks for the adjusted image. The shot is flat and indistinct - it was took in panic before the sun disappeared!
Evershine - thank for the support. When my techniques improve I hope to return to all my shots in 'LL' improve on them.
Happy Snapping!

Hi Mandy, I realised that you are learning very fast. Like what Cecil had mentioned before, the learning curve for everyone is different. I guess that in your case the learning curve is pretty short. Keep up the good work.
